The Seven are the Baratheons, Starks, Arryns, Lannister, Tyrell, Martell, Greyjoys. The Tullys are big but not one of the seven, and the targareyns are just the kings. If you recall in the show (but not in the book) Robert refers to "Making the Eight" getting with a girl from each of the seven kingdoms AND the riverlands, which would imply that the Tully's, although a powerful family, are not one of the seven.

I thought the Baratheon sigi was a crowned stag. That's what it always was in the appendices of the books.

Arryn, Baratheon, Lannister, Stark, Tully, Martell, and Tyrell should be the actual 7 Great Houses :P
Greyjoys are just, rebellious freaks? And the Targaryens were outsiders who conquered them all.

Good job with all of them anyhow. I like the background and texture :)

It appears we were both wrong on some account :O

The actual great houses before Aegon the Conquerer came were Lannister, Baratheon, Martell, Stark, Arryn, Hoare, and Gardener.

The Hoares were the rulers of the Iron Islands and also ruled the Riverlands; after Harrenhal burned down with the last Hoare king, Aegon passed the rule of the Riverlands to the Tullys, and the Ironborn elected the Greyjoys as their new lords.

The Gardeners were the rulers of the Reach, but after they all got killed, Aegon passed their rule down to the Tyrells. In that way, the Greyjoys, the Tyrells, and the Tullys have never actually been king (until Balon's rebellion).

Greyjoys do belong there since they used to be the Kings of Iron Islands.
