Okay so we have Westeros in the middle here and then Essos to the East.

But what about those other two continents? In the West and North-East? I'm not familiar with them.

I think they were added by ~McNealy, because Westeros and Essos are the only two continents that we know exist in A Song of Ice and Fire, and Essos is rarely, if ever, mentioned by name in the books.

I remember seeing other maps that show a third continent underneath Essos. Here's one example: [link]
